EMDR Consultation for Certification

What It Is
An EMDR consultation for certification is a structured, supportive meeting between a therapist in training and a certified EMDR consultant, or a consultant-in-training (CIT) who is also licensed. It is educational, and not supervision since the purpose is to help therapists gain confidence, skill, and competence in administering EMDR. Consultations are open to clinicians located anywhere in the world.

What to Expect
During the consultation, we will:

  • Review EMDR case material and discuss treatment planning using the template that will be provided

  • Receive guidance on EMDR protocols, techniques, and complex cases

  • Discuss ethical considerations and questions about the therapy process

  • Support your progress toward EMDR certification requirements

I specialize in supporting Neurodivergent, Latine, and LGBTQ+ adults, offering sessions in English and Spanish. My areas of clinical expertise include:

Cultural Humility & Systemic Awareness
I integrate cultural humility into consultation, recognizing how racism, immigration experiences, systemic oppression, and BIPOC identities impact both the therapy process and client experiences. My approach ensures EMDR practice is culturally responsive, ethical, and helpful, so we can better treat historically underserved groups.

EMDR Consultation Services

    EMDR Individual Consultation for certification-60 minutes *

    $95 for 60-min (PST) via Zoom

    This is available for clinicians who have completed Basic Training from an EMDRIA-approved program and are just starting their certification journey, or wish to add more hours. It is also open to clinicians who wish to receive some preparation before starting a full EMDR course. A copy of the program completion certificate will be needed prior to starting consultation in order for me to provide a Statement of Verification for certification.     *Disclaimer: We would need to meet for at least 5 consultation hours, and reviewed at least 1 video recording in order to write statement of verification letter for EMDRIA. Can be conducted in English/Spanish. This is not supervision and it is expected that you will follow your best clinical judgment when making decisions on your cases. Legal advice is not provided.     *Feel free to ask for sliding scale rate, if necessary, and also if there’s a time preference that is not listed in the calendar, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

  • Monthly EMDR Drop-In Group Consultation for Certification-120 minutes *

    ‍ ‍$75 for 120-min (PST) via Zoom

    A maximum of 4 clinicians will be able to register for groups at any one time, and a minimum of 2 needed to run group. This is available for clinicians who have completed Basic Training from an EMDRIA-approved program, and for clinicians who are just starting their certification process, or wanting to add additional hours. A copy of the program completion certificate will be needed prior to starting consultation if you need me to provide a Statement of Verification Letter for certification.     Please review Consult Agreement Form Before Scheduling

    If you are interested in consultation please take a moment to review the agreement form before scheduling to ensure you are informed and know what to expect. After booking, you will receive a version to e-sign. This signed form is required regardless of whether, or not your are seeking consult for certification as the form contains policy information and expectations.

    A copy of your EMDR Basic Training Certification must be emailed and the signed consult agreement form completed 24 hours before consult, otherwise the meeting will need to be rescheduled.
