About the provider
Romina M. Schnelle, MA, (CA) LMFT 123169
My pronouns are: She/Her/Ella
I am a Peruvian American, bilingual (English and Spanish) therapist and the founder of Existnow Therapy. I have been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California since 2020 and earned my graduate degree from Alliant University. I am currently a doctoral candidate at The Chicago School, where I continue to deepen my clinical training and commitment to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care.
My work is grounded in an inclusive, neuroaffirming approach, and I specialize in using EMDR therapy to support individuals navigating the grief of losing a beloved pet. This work is both professional and personal. After losing my own pet, I experienced firsthand how deep and complex this grief can be—and how often it is misunderstood.
As someone who values identity-affirming care, I am especially mindful of creating a supportive space for neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals. I strive to ensure that all parts of your identity are respected and integrated into the healing process.
Through my work, I have seen how transformative it can be to process grief in a space where you feel truly understood. My goal is to walk alongside you with compassion as you navigate your loss.
